In my opinion is very important article since it's talking about one most important topics discussed in the UN which is nuclear weapons. Also what kind of actions will have if this pact is broken what will happen with countries who have several pacts as the one of Iran and the US.
Audience – who is the intended target of the article
This article is intended more to the US citizens to the see the consequences if the pact is broke, also but less targeted to Irani people who will suffer sanctions if the leave the pact
Bias – what slant does the writer have?
The writer has a slant towards the United States because in the news they state about US not being in danger by leaving the pact they have with Iran and it mostly talks about what Trump is saying about the problem and about the side of US.
Bias – what slant might the publisher have
The publishers slant is to the US side since they are the ones who created the pact and will have less consequences if they leave.
Bias – what slant does the reader have
As a reader I think that the US should take action right away instead of waiting 6 days because they can work out something different about it due to it’s label of ‘the worst deal ever negotiated’ so my slant is not with the US due to Trump’s bad handling the exchange because in the 2015 it was proved success, and instead of Trump taking actions he is criticising the deal.
Purpose
The purpose for this article is talking about the different types problems Iran and the US are having and also what will happen if their treaty brakes what repercussions will have and it states what each country is saying about the pact and the negotiation they are making.
