As a team, our opinion is that the hurricane is a really dangerous disaster and that it is important to see where the hurricane is and where it is going to be for security and to have the time to evacuate and take the important things with you. The article talks about all the damage that the hurricane did many in Florida and as a team me conclude that it is a terrible situation for the people in Florida that lose everything because the hurricane destroys cars, houses, and roads.

Audience: The audience target in this news article is all the people in America.Since most of the affected regions from Hurricane Irma come from the Caribbean golf, affecting many U.S citizens and also Latin American citizens who went to Florida for better opportunities.

Most of all, Catherine (the writer) wrote this article to make us aware of what Irma is doing to Key Largo, Miami, and all of the homes, cars, roads, and people it has damaged. She doesn’t talk much about her opinion of the subject, but clearly, she has nothing good to say about it because all of the facts talk about how Irma has only done bad to the world.

The publisher may have the same intention as the writer, letting people be aware of what’s happening in the world and what the hurricane is doing. Or the publisher can also want views to its site and knows that to have more readers he/she has to publish the latest and more wanted news at the moment. in this case, the trending topic is Irma.

It can be inferred that people read it to be informed about what has Irma done to the places it’s touched, how many people have been hurt, what has it destroyed, etc. Readers may want to be informed so that they can be careful and protect themselves in any way they can or be prepared if Irma gets to their home or any other hurricane.

Purpose: The goal of this news article is mostly to inform about what is happening with one of the most powerful hurricanes that have ever hit the Caribbean coast, as well as informing what is happening in the different regions it has hit in the state of Florida. Adding to this article I think the writer is given a hidden message which is to persuade people to help everyone who is suffering from this natural disaster.
